1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data processed through this website is Momentum Consult SRL, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova ("Momentum Consult", "we" or "us"). For any question about how we process personal data, write to office@momentumconsult.md.

We process personal data in accordance with the personal data protection legislation of the Republic of Moldova, in particular Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection, in force since 23 August 2026, which replaced Law No. 133/2011. The national law transposes Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and this policy follows the GDPR's structure and principles.

3. Data we collect

Through the contact form we collect:

  • your name;
  • your phone number or email address;
  • your type of business;
  • the service you are interested in;
  • your message, if you choose to write one.

Please do not include sensitive data or other people's data in your message. The server may also automatically log technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, needed to run and secure the website. Information about cookies is available in our Cookie Policy.

  • Responding to your request and preparing an offer. Legal basis: the consent you give when submitting the form, and taking the steps you request before entering into a contract.
  • Operating and securing the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website against unauthorised access and abuse.

We do not use form data for direct marketing, and we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Retention

  • Requests sent through the form are kept for up to 12 months from receipt if no contract follows.
  • If we sign a contract, the necessary data becomes part of the contractual relationship and is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the periods required by accounting and tax legislation.
  • Technical data in server logs is kept only as long as needed for website security.

When these periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Recipients

  • Our hosting provider, which supplies a virtual private server (VPS) in a data centre in Germany, a member state of the European Union. The provider acts as a processor on our behalf and does not use the data for its own purposes.
  • Public authorities, only where the law requires us to disclose data.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the law, you have the right:

  • to be informed about the processing;
  • to access your data;
  • to have inaccurate data corrected;
  • to have your data erased;
  • to restrict processing;
  • to data portability;
  • to object to processing;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email office@momentumconsult.md. We may ask for information to confirm your identity and will respond within one month of receiving the request, unless the law allows an extension, in which case we will inform you.

8. Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP), datepersonale.md. You are welcome to contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.

9. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted data transmission, access limited to people who need the data, authentication for internal systems, regular updates and backups. If a security incident occurs, we act as required by law, including notifying the supervisory authority and affected people where necessary.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when legislation, our services or the way we process data change. The current version is published on this page with the date of the last update. Significant changes are highlighted visibly on the website.
